Check It, Here’s the First Gameplay Trailer for Total War: Rome II


Sega and The Creative Assembly released the first gameplay trailer for Total War: Rome II today that’s full of in game footage for us to drool over. The footage pulls back the curtain for a peek at battles and assorted other details that will be encountered in the game. Total War: Rome II is slated to release sometime in 2013, for now though, here’s the basic description and the trailer for your enjoyment.

The year is 146BC, brilliant tactician Scipio Aemilianus is dispatched by Rome to break the three-year-long siege of Carthage, an unforgivable blight on the glory of the growing Empire. Ruthless determination and an almost suicidal amphibious assault is required, but the young consul is uncomfortably aware that the price of victory may be much higher than the senate realizes.
