Momokuri is based on a web manga.and can be found streaming on Crunchyroll, Fridays at 6:30 AM PDT/8:30 AM CDT/9:30 AM EDT.
First off let me say that Momokuri may confuse people as according to most sites this has already aired. It originally aired from December 2015 to February 2016 as 26 – 13 min episodes on the comico app. This is the actual TV broadcast of the series which will now be 13 – 24 min episodes. (Basically they are combining two episodes per airing)
Momokuri is a slice of life, romantic comedy anime. This was one that I had on my “maybe” list. My first impression is that this series has a very “cutesy” vibe to it. Momo and Yuki are in the beginning stages of their relationship. Yuki claims it was “love at first sight” when she tells her friend Noriko about Momo.
The characters are interesting, in that we have Yuki who is cute, but also seems to be a bit of a stalker, Momo is a bit of an air-head as he is just so overwhelmed that a girl confessed her feelings to him, and then there are the friends who add a bit of comic relief to the series.
The animation and music fit the series and neither has anything that really sets it apart from most slice of life animes.
Overall I gave this episode a 3 out of 5! This series will appeal to the fans of slice of life, comedy, and romance anime. I will definitely watch to see how this one plays out, but I’m not expecting phentermine online anything mind blowing.
