Eidos-Montréal, a Square Enix studio, today announced that DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION – Director’s Cut, the definitive version of the critically acclaimed action-RPG title, is launching on Nintendo’s Wii U system, the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Windows PC, and Mac later this year.
“After our Director’s Cut announcement we received an overwhelming response from the community asking us to bring this ultimate edition of HUMAN REVOLUTION to other platforms,” said Stéphane D’Astous, General Manager of Eidos-Montréal. “We’re thrilled to accommodate that request. We can now say with pleasure, ‘You asked for this!’”
DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION – Director’s Cut also offers a full slate of second screen features for the Wii U GamePad, Microsoft’s SmartGlass, and the PlayStation Vita system that make the touchscreen interface Adam Jensen’s primary neural hub enhancement.
Tongs’s Rescue mission and the entire Missing Link chapter have been integrated seamlessly into the narrative flow of the Director’s Cut. Other core DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION augmentations include overhauled boss fights, refined game balance and combat, improved AI, over 8 hours of developer commentary, and striking visual improvements which make this edition the best looking and most immersive Deus Ex experience available.

About DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION – Director’s Cut
Praised for its in-game art and cinema-quality storyline, DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION has garnered critical acclaim from the media and consumers alike since its original release in August 2011. Director’s Cut features include visual improvements, overhauled boss fights, reinforced combat mechanics and much more making it the ultimate HUMAN REVOLUTION experience.
In DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION, the year is 2027– a time of great innovation in neuroprosthetics, but also a time of chaos, conspiracy, and social divide. Adam Jensen, a man cybernetically augmented against his own choice, finds himself in the middle of a mysterious, global plot to which he holds the key. By offering players vastly different ways to play, DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION challenges the foundation of gaming and provides an immersive experience where every choice has a lasting consequence.
