Studio HIVE has secured videogame license for the next installment of famous martial arts movie series Ong-Bak. The Thailand based game development team is currently working on a stunning multiplatform game set in the unique Ong-Bak universe. The famous martial arts action brand is a perfect fit for gaming platforms and it is the first time ever that Ong-Bak will be released on various gaming platforms in 2012. The game is being developed in close collaboration with the license holder Sahamongkol Film International in order to achieve a much deeper story involvement for all Ong-Bak fans.

We are very selective with our licensing partners and found in Studio HIVE the right partner to bring Ong-Bak to gaming platforms. Their approach to tie in movie and game is the right way to create a perfect interactive entertainment” comments Akarapol Techaratanaprasert, business development director at Sahamongkol Film International.
